Russian forces dropped three glide bombs on Kramatorsk, killing two people and wounding one, Donetsk regional governor Vadym Filashkin said on Telegram. He urged residents living near the frontline—about 12 kilometres away—to evacuate immediately. The strike comes amid more than four years of conflict since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Local officials continue to coordinate evacuations and emergency aid.

At least two people were killed and one injured after Russian forces dropped three glide bombs on the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk regional military governor Vadym Filashkin said on Telegram on Saturday.

Filashkin renewed an urgent appeal for residents living close to the frontline—reported to be just over 12 kilometres from Kramatorsk—to evacuate to safer areas. Local authorities stress that zones near the front remain highly dangerous.

Attack Details

The governor's Telegram post identified the weapon as glide bombs, a type of air-delivered guided munition. Emergency services have confirmed the immediate casualty figures but have not released further details about the exact locations hit.

Casualties: 2 dead, 1 injured.

Weapons Used: Three glide bombs.

Proximity to Front Line: About 12 km.

Wider Context

The strike comes as Ukraine continues to defend itself against Russia's full-scale invasion, now in its fourth year. Residents in frontline regions are repeatedly urged to follow official evacuation guidance and seek shelter when attacks occur.

Authorities and humanitarian groups have been coordinating evacuations and support for affected civilians, and the situation remains fluid as investigations and emergency responses continue.
