Amber J. Foster, 45, was found dead in Lenexa, Kansas, on Dec. 15, roughly 30 hours after she was last seen by authorities, the Lenexa Police Department said.
Foster was reported last seen at about 5:53 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, walking on foot toward the Canyon Farms Golf Course near W. 87th Street Parkway and Winchester. Her vehicle was later recovered in a nearby parking garage.
The following morning, officers located Foster's body in the 17800 block of W. 86th Street — a site less than a mile from where she was last observed. Investigators estimated she had been missing for about 30 hours before her body was found, according to local reports.
Authorities said Foster was wearing an orange T-shirt layered over a long-sleeve white shirt and blue jeans when she disappeared. Master Police Officer Danny Chavez of the Lenexa Police Department told The Kansas City Star that there were no obvious signs of foul play at the scene.

The Lenexa Police Department has not released a cause of death. An active investigation is ongoing, and officials have not responded to additional comment requests. Local outlets reporting on the case include KCTV and The Kansas City Star.
