Body Matching Missing Pregnant Woman Rebecca Park Found; Fiancé and Sister Arrested

Her fiancé, 43-year-old Richard Falor, and her 21-year-old sister, Kimberly Park, were arrested and booked into the Wexford County Jail after the discovery, though no charges have been announced. A body discovered in Manistee National Forest on Nov. 25 matched the description of 22-year-old Rebecca Kay Park, authorities said. Park had been reported missing just before midnight on Nov. 3 and was reportedly about 38 weeks pregnant, with a due date in mid-November.

Family members launched a large search after she vanished. Her fiancé, 43-year-old Richard Falor, and her 21-year-old sister, Kimberly Park, were among those publicly urging for information during the search.

In a television interview, Falor said an unknown person picked Rebecca up from her mother’s home on the day she disappeared and left in a vehicle. Investigators recovered Park’s phone near her mother’s house, and the body was later located in the national forest.

Shortly after the remains were found, custody records show Falor was booked into the Wexford County Jail at about 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 25. A few hours later, shortly after midnight on Nov. 26, Kimberly Park was also booked into the same facility. Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for the arrests, and there are currently no charges listed for either individual.

Officials declined to confirm whether a newborn or fetal remains were found with the discovered body or to definitively confirm the pregnancy status at the scene. The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office said it will not release further details while an autopsy and ongoing investigation are pending.

This remains an active investigation. Law enforcement is encouraging anyone with information to contact local authorities.
