Police in Wiltshire responded to a report of a "disorder" at a Swindon home on the evening of Friday, Nov. 21. Officers arrived at about 7 p.m. and discovered 55-year-old Sarah Forrester unresponsive; she was later pronounced dead at the scene.

A 13-year-old girl was taken into custody on suspicion of murder and questioned by detectives. The suspect was released on bail on Sunday, Nov. 23, while inquiries continue. Her identity has not been disclosed because she is a minor, and authorities have not publicly identified a cause of death or explained the relationship between the suspect and Forrester.

Forrester was a mother of two and worked as a mental health counsellor for the Kelly Foundation in Swindon. The charity said colleagues were "heartbroken at the sudden loss of our lovely Sarah," and described her as committed to the charity and devoted to her children.

Neighbours also expressed shock. A local teenager, Jayden, 15, told reporters that Forrester was a "well known" figure on the street where she had lived for about seven years and remembered her as someone who put others first.

"She was a really nice lady, she would put everyone else before herself," Jayden said.

Detectives from Wiltshire Police remain on the case and are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding Forrester's death.
