A three-month-old boy was killed and 11 people were injured after a drone struck a residential building in Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk, officials said. Local authorities reported damage to apartment buildings, a shop and a cinema amid drone, glide-bomb and artillery strikes. Separate incidents were reported in Zaporizhzhia and inside Russia’s Samara and Moscow regions, and Moscow said it intercepted 598 Ukrainian drones — a figure that could not be independently verified.
3-Month-Old Killed in Drone Strike on Marhanets; Multiple Injuries Reported in Overnight Attacks

A three-month-old boy was killed and 11 others were wounded after a drone struck a residential building in the frontline town of Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk region, officials said on Saturday following a wave of overnight aerial attacks.
Local authorities said the infant died when the drone hit an apartment block. The region's military administration head, Oleksandr Hanzha, reported that among the 11 injured were a five-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. Apartment blocks, a shop and a cinema were also damaged in the strikes, which officials said included drones, glide bombs and artillery.
In neighbouring Zaporizhzhia region, military governor Ivan Fedorov said drone strikes on vehicles left three people injured.
Cross-border incidents were also reported inside Russia. Samara region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said an industrial plant on the Volga was struck by missiles; unverified photos and videos of a large plume of smoke circulated on social media after the reported attack. In Moscow region, Governor Andrei Vorobyov said a woman and a nine-year-old child were injured by what he described as a Ukrainian drone.
Moscow's defence ministry said it had intercepted 598 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory and the annexed Crimean Peninsula. Those interception figures could not be independently verified, but officials on both sides said the incidents point to the continued intensity of drone operations and cross-border strikes in the fifth year of the full-scale invasion.
