Saturday's Powerball drawing produced no jackpot winner, leaving the estimated top prize at $863.8 million — the largest U.S. lottery total so far this year.

The numbers drawn were 5, 9, 35, 54, 63 with a Powerball of 7. The next drawing is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 10, with a projected jackpot of $905 million and a cash-option value of $391.9 million, Powerball officials said.
How This Jackpot Compares
This prize ranks as the eighth-largest Powerball jackpot in history and, when Mega Millions payouts are included, the 16th-largest U.S. lottery payout on record. To move into the top seven Powerball prizes the jackpot would need to surpass the $1 billion mark.
Record Context
The largest lottery jackpot on record remains the single $2.04 billion Powerball ticket sold in California in November 2022. That drawing's lump-sum cash payout did not exceed $1 billion; the 2022 winner, Edwin Castro, received a cash prize of $997.6 million.
New: U.K. Players Join Powerball
For the first time, Powerball ticket sales began in the United Kingdom on July 21. That means future jackpots could grow faster if U.K. ticket holders participate and the top prize carries over without a winner in the U.S. or abroad.
"Entering the top 10 largest Powerball jackpots is when we historically see a lot of players join in the game," said Stephen Durrell, chair of the Powerball Product Group and executive director of the Kansas Lottery.
Ongoing Run Without a Jackpot Winner
The jackpot was last won on May 2. Since then there have been 41 consecutive drawings without a top-prize winner, though many smaller prizes have been awarded — including a $1 million prize in Ohio for matching all five white balls in a recent drawing.
