Frezja Matisse Baker, 31, has been missing since Dec. 4 after dropping her 2-year-old son at his grandparents' home in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was last seen at 9:52 p.m. driving a gray-blue 2004 Honda Accord with South Carolina temporary plate HBL5984A and reportedly called family around 10:30 p.m. saying she was an hour away. A Charlotte mother, 31-year-old Frezja Matisse Baker, has been missing since the night of Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, after dropping her 2-year-old son at his grandparents' home, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) and family members.

Baker was last observed at 1323 Lasalle Street in Charlotte at 9:52 p.m. on Dec. 4. She was driving a gray-blue 2004 Honda Accord with a South Carolina temporary license plate bearing the number HBL5984A. The vehicle and Baker have not been located.

Family members said Baker dropped her son off following a dentist appointment and called relatives about 10:30 p.m. to say she was roughly an hour away, but she never returned. Relatives told local media she was seen with a man described as an associate; no further identifying details about that person have been released.

Description: Baker is described as a Black woman, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. According to CMPD, she was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with the word “Panthers” across the chest, dark leggings, white shoes and carrying a black purse with a gold-colored strap.

CMPD confirmed the case is an active investigation and said it has released all currently available information. Authorities have urged anyone with information about Baker or the location of her vehicle to call 911 immediately.

“My sister never came home,” Baker’s brother, Fred Baker, told a local station. Their mother added: “I just want my baby home — in good health, that’s all.” Family members emphasize that Baker would not voluntarily abandon her young child.
