Providence police arrested three people after seven Providence College students overdosed at an off‑campus party on Liege Street. First responders administered Narcan and transported the victims to a hospital, where they were reportedly conscious and alert. A subsequent search on Hawkins Street recovered about 20 grams of fentanyl, $1,700, two rifles and three handguns, including a ghost gun. Two suspects are being held without bail; a third was released on a $10,000 bond. The college says it will conduct an internal investigation as police continue to gather evidence.

Providence police arrested three people after accusing them of supplying drugs linked to overdoses of seven Providence College students at an off‑campus party, authorities said.

Officers responded last week to a gathering on Liege Street in Providence, Rhode Island, where they found four students unconscious in the front yard of the home, according to WBZ‑TV. In all, seven people at the party experienced overdoses. First responders administered Narcan and transported the victims to a hospital, where they were reported to be conscious and alert.

None of the three suspects are students at the college.

Search Yields Fentanyl, Weapons and Cash

Investigators later executed a search warrant at a residence on Hawkins Street. Officers seized approximately 20 grams of fentanyl, $1,700 in cash, two rifles and three handguns, including a so‑called "ghost gun," authorities said.

Arrests and Charges

Three people were arrested in connection with the investigation: Angel Williams, 33; Patrick Patterson, 32; and Kimsheree Simoneau, 33. Williams and Patterson face multiple drug and firearms charges, while Simoneau was charged with possession of a ghost gun. Williams and Patterson are being held without bail; Simoneau was released on a $10,000 bond. Police said none of the three suspects attend Providence College.

A total of seven people at the party overdosed, were given Narcan and then were transported to a hospital.

“This investigation reflects the department's continued commitment to combating the deadly flow of fentanyl and illegal firearms into our community,” Providence Police Col. Oscar Perez said, praising the coordinated work of the Narcotics and Organized Crime Bureau.

Providence College said it will conduct its own internal inquiry into the incident. A college spokesperson thanked City of Providence first responders and college public safety officers who administered lifesaving care to students. The investigation remains active as authorities continue to gather evidence.
