On May 2 at Brooks Park in Fort Myers, 34-year-old Renee Lambert ran onto the field during a Pop Warner game and kicked a 13-year-old player, according to deputies and sideline video. Body-camera footage shows deputies confronting Lambert and detaining her after she resisted officers and insisted a player hit her first. She was arrested on charges of child abuse without great bodily harm and resisting an officer without violence, taken for a medical check after reporting head pain, and released from jail the next day. Local youth football officials said she has been banned and the organizations will cooperate with investigators.
Caught on Video: Florida Mom Kicks 13-Year-Old During Pop Warner Brawl — Body-Cam Shows Arrest

The Lee County Sheriff's Office says a 34-year-old woman, identified as Renee Lambert, ran onto a Pop Warner field at Brooks Park in Fort Myers on May 2 and kicked a 13-year-old player while he was on the ground, according to deputies and sideline video.
Sideline footage captured players tumbling into an on-field fight before an adult entered the scuffle and appeared to kick a youth on the turf. Deputies assigned to the park later identified the woman as Renee Lambert and released body-camera footage showing officers confronting her away from the playing area.
Lambert's account and deputies' response. In the body-cam clip, Lambert tells deputies she was struck first and points them toward a player wearing No. 9. A deputy replies bluntly: "You're an adult." When officers attempted to detain her, she resisted, telling them "No, I'm not. Goodbye," and pulled away as deputies tried to handcuff her.
According to the probable-cause statement cited by ABC News, a witness told deputies Lambert kicked the juvenile multiple times; the youth later reported being kicked in the leg. Deputies said they observed no visible injuries. Lambert told officers a player had hit her with his helmet and that she fought back, but the sheriff's office said its review of the available evidence did not support that claim.
Charges, medical check and release. Lambert was arrested at the scene on charges of child abuse without great bodily harm and resisting an officer without violence. The probable-cause report says she later complained of head pain and was taken to a hospital for evaluation before being booked into the Lee County Jail; jail records show she was released the next day.
Local response. Southwest Florida Panthers Youth Football President Jose Davila said the organization maintains a "zero tolerance" policy for adult misconduct. The Fort Myers Falcons announced Lambert has been banned from their events and said they will cooperate with law enforcement as the investigation continues.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office continues to review the incident and the available video evidence. No further criminal dispositions were reported in the released materials at the time of publication.
