Danone USA announced a voluntary recall on Sept. 15 for So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints after reports that some containers may contain foreign material. Company statements indicate the objects are "small stones and other hard objects" found within the cashew inclusions.

Why the Recall Was Issued
Danone initiated the recall after receiving consumer complaints about small stones and other hard objects found in the cashew pieces mixed into the product. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has been notified; as of the company announcement, the FDA has not yet posted a public recall notice on its website.
What Consumers Should Do
- If you have a pint with a "best by" date on or before April 3, 2028, do not consume it.
- Locate the "best by" date and identifying details on the bottom of the pint to confirm whether your product is affected.
- Danone is working with retailers to remove affected items from store shelves.
