Isabelle Johnson, 38, was arrested Aug. 13 after a 45-day multiagency search that began when 43-year-old Jason Coulthart's remains were found in a shallow grave with a zip tie around his neck. The WCSO Cyber Crime Unit tracked Johnson's communications, which led to her capture by a U.S. Marshals Task Force outside Cottondale, Fla. Johnson is being held without bond and may face additional charges; authorities previously arrested five people accused of helping her evade capture. A $16,000 reward aided the investigation.

Isabelle Johnson, 38, was arrested on Aug. 13 following a 45-day multiagency manhunt tied to the death of 43-year-old Jason Coulthart, whose remains were discovered in a shallow grave earlier this summer.

Johnson was taken into custody "without incident" at about 2:30 p.m. local time by a U.S. Marshals Task Force at a residence outside Cottondale in Jackson County, Fla., the Walton County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) said. Investigators credit the WCSO Cyber Crime Unit with tracking her communications, information that led to her location and subsequent extradition to Walton County, where authorities say the alleged homicide occurred.

Walton County public arrest records show Johnson is being held without bond. Authorities said she is expected to face additional charges as the investigation continues.

"After an exhaustive 45 days, Johnson was located not from media coverage or tips, although we are very grateful for them, but through the hard work of our investigators," Chief Deputy Dustin Cosson said. "To every agency that assisted us along the way, we are extremely thankful."

Officials warned prior to her arrest that Johnson frequently used multiple identities and moved often. The WCSO listed several aliases she allegedly used, including "Harley," "Jessica Elaine Bowman," "Jessica Elaine Thrush," "Jessica Elaine Thrash," "Jessica Dowdy," and possibly "Denise." Investigators also released descriptions of tattoos authorities believe are on Johnson to help the public identify her. A $16,000 reward was offered for information leading to her arrest.

Coulthart had been reported missing to the Niceville Police Department in late May. On June 25, investigators received information from an incarcerated person about the likely location of his remains. That evening, searchers recovered Coulthart's body from a shallow grave in Freeport, Walton County, roughly 20 miles east of Niceville. According to an arrest report obtained by PEOPLE, the grave had been covered with concrete and a black Cadillac was parked over the site; a large white zip tie was found around Coulthart's neck.

Coulthart was a father and grew up in New Jersey. In a prior WCSO post, his family asked the public to remember him as more than a case: a son, a brother, a father and a friend whose family seeks justice.

Authorities previously arrested five people accused of assisting Johnson after the alleged killing. Prosecutors say those individuals are charged with providing shelter, transportation, supplies and a cellphone, arranging places for her to stay and misleading investigators. It was not immediately clear whether Johnson has retained legal counsel to speak on her behalf.

The investigation remains active and Walton County officials say additional charges and developments may follow.
