Israeli settlers escorted by soldiers entered Tal and nearby areas southwest of Nablus, leaving at least 11 Palestinians — including four children — injured, according to medical sources and aid groups. Witnesses reported the use of live rounds, stun grenades and tear gas; the Palestine Red Crescent said one person was shot in the stomach. Palestinian media said at least 10 people were detained across the West Bank, while Israeli forces reportedly seized four homes in Tal and converted them into barracks. The incidents follow earlier deadly clashes and an uptick in settler violence in the region.
11 Palestinians, Including Four Children, Injured in Israeli Raids Near Nablus as Settler Violence Escalates

Israeli settlers escorted by soldiers entered the town of Tal and other areas southwest of Nablus, prompting clashes that left at least 11 Palestinians — including four children — wounded, local medical sources and aid groups reported on Friday.
What Happened
Medical sources cited by Al Jazeera said the injuries occurred during a raid in the Junaid neighbourhood of Nablus. Residents reported that Israeli forces used live ammunition, stun grenades and tear gas canisters. The Palestine Red Crescent Society said at least one person was shot in the stomach.
Video shared on multiple Palestinian social accounts and verified by journalists showed large numbers of Israeli soldiers gathering in the town of Tal. Correspondents said settlers and soldiers entered the Ain al-Mazrab area of Tal and the al-Ameriya neighbourhood west of Nablus before withdrawing.
Arrests, Property Seizures and Allegations
Palestinian media reported that Israeli forces detained at least 10 people across the occupied West Bank on Friday, including in Nablus, Tal, Salem and Bethlehem. The Israeli military said "Israeli civilians" had entered Area A — where Israeli presence is barred under Israeli law — and that those civilians had since left the Nablus area. The military also said it received reports that a Palestinian cemetery was vandalised.
On Thursday, Israeli forces reportedly raided Tal and seized four Palestinian homes, converting them into temporary military barracks. The takeover followed calls by some settler groups for a large march on Tal after the deaths of two Israelis who had been among a group of settlers involved in earlier violence there.
Context And Related Incidents
Earlier clashes in the area last week left four Palestinians dead and several others wounded; residents reported homes and vehicles were set on fire. Observers and residents say settler attacks across the occupied West Bank have intensified in recent weeks, and that Israeli raids and arrests around Tal and Nablus have effectively imposed a heavy security presence and restrictions on movement.
On Friday, raids were also reported at Ramallah's Qaddura refugee camp, where forces fired tear gas and detained one person. Additional arrests were reported in Bethlehem (Wadi Shahin), Anabta (east of Tulkarem) and Tal; soldiers briefly detained several young men in Salfit and later released them. WAFA reported that on Thursday evening a man in Beita, south of Nablus, was shot in the neck after soldiers fired on his vehicle.
