The Iranian military said it has paused strikes on Israel after carrying out operations it described as retaliation for Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, including Dahiyeh. The IRGC-run Fars News Agency published the Khatam al-Anbiya statement, which warned that more severe measures could follow if aggression continues. President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran will protect national security through both diplomacy and defense. The situation remains under development.
Iran Says Its Strikes On Israel Have Ended — Will Resume If Israel Strikes Southern Lebanon (Dahiyeh)

The Iranian military's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced on Monday that it had concluded strikes on Israel, saying the operations were carried out in response to recent Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, including Dahiyeh. The statement was published by the IRGC-run Fars News Agency.
The military added that the pause is conditional and warned of stronger action if hostilities continue.
Should the 'aggression and evils' continue, much more severe and crushing measures will be on the way.
President Masoud Pezeshkian wrote on X that Iran's priority is national security and the safety of its people. He said Iran will defend its rights with authority and will not retreat in the face of threat, adding that "diplomacy and defense are the two wings of national power." Pezeshkian also stressed: "We have neither abandoned the field nor the negotiating table."
This is a developing story.
