Israeli forces and settlers killed at least 11 Palestinians across Gaza and the occupied West Bank in one day during an October-announced ceasefire, officials said. In Gaza, seven people were killed in multiple strikes — including a child who later died of wounds — and 21 others were reported injured. In the West Bank, four people died, including two shot during a settler attack on a school in al‑Mughayyir and a teen struck by a security convoy near Hebron. Local authorities also reported continued displacement and severe restrictions on humanitarian aid.
At Least 11 Palestinians Killed Across Gaza and the West Bank During Ongoing Ceasefire

Israeli soldiers and settlers killed at least 11 Palestinians across Gaza and the occupied West Bank in a single day of violence during a ceasefire that was announced in October, Palestinian officials and local media reported.
Gaza: Multiple Strikes and Deadly Incidents
Gaza health authorities reported at least seven people killed in a series of Israeli strikes and operations, and said 21 people were injured across the territory during a 24-hour period. The Wafa news agency said three Palestinians were killed near Khan Younis in southern Gaza, including a man who had recently married. A separate Israeli drone strike near the Sheikh Nasser neighbourhood east of Khan Younis later killed another man.
In northern Gaza, a woman was reported killed after Israeli naval forces shelled tents sheltering displaced families northwest of Beit Lahiya. Verified footage obtained by Al Jazeera showed the burial shroud of Abdullah Dawas, a child who died 10 days after being shot in the head near the al-Fakhoura clinic in Jabalia refugee camp.
Another strike on a group of people at the Dawla roundabout in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighbourhood killed one person and wounded several others. Earlier, quadcopter drones reportedly dropped explosives on a tent housing displaced Palestinians near Shujayea in Gaza City, setting the encampment ablaze.
Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum, reporting from Gaza, said: "Israel is showing no intention of scaling back its attacks. These strikes are not simply causing destruction and casualties but are reigniting fear across communities that have barely had time to recover."
Local accounts say Israeli forces continue operations in eastern Gaza while many displaced Palestinians remain crowded into western areas and humanitarian aid remains severely restricted. Officials also report that soldiers have regularly fired on people approaching areas under military control and that hundreds of homes have been demolished.
Casualty Totals (Gaza): Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported 784 Palestinians killed and 2,214 wounded since the October ceasefire took effect, and said rescuers had recovered 761 bodies from beneath rubble. The ministry’s wider toll since violence escalated on October 7, 2023, lists substantially higher numbers for the overall period.
West Bank: Settler Attacks and Fatal Incidents
In the occupied West Bank, Palestinian health officials said four people were killed on the same day. Two of the deaths occurred during an attack by Israeli settlers on the village of al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, where they reportedly attacked the al-Mughayyir Boys School. The ministry named the victims as 14-year-old Aws Hamdi al-Na’san and 32-year-old Jihad Marzouq Abu Na’im; four others were wounded.
Local officials said Israeli soldiers opened fire while protecting the settlers. In Hebron, 16-year-old Mohammad Majdi al-Jaabari was killed after being struck by a vehicle belonging to a security convoy escorting an Israeli minister near the settlement of Kiryat Arba; Wafa reported he had been cycling to school shortly after dawn. Haaretz cited a security source saying the convoy was providing security for Israeli Settlement Minister Orit Strock, who lives in the area.
Elsewhere in the West Bank, a 49-year-old woman died from injuries sustained when Israeli forces shot her during a raid on the Jenin refugee camp.
Casualty Totals (West Bank): According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, 1,152 Palestinians, including 239 children, have been killed and more than 11,885 injured in the West Bank since October 7, 2023; at least 48 Palestinians have been killed there since the start of this year.
International law considers Israeli settlements and outposts built on Palestinian land illegal. Palestinian journalist and analyst Mariam Barghouti said the violence in the West Bank appears to be "intensified and increasingly violent, with the purpose of dispossessing Palestinians from their homes and lands," according to her statement reacting to the attacks.
