Police were called to the industrial estate shortly after midnight on Sunday after reports that the child, who was from West Yorkshire, had been discovered injured. She and four other people were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee; the girl later died of her injuries.

Officers arrested a 35-year-old man who was known to the child. He has been charged and is scheduled to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday. Police say they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
