Fox News cut short an interview after Democratic candidate Oliver Larkin accused former President Donald Trump of involvement related to the Epstein files and said, "We need to hold this pedophile Donald Trump accountable." The host interrupted and ended the segment; Larkin later shared the clip on X. The Justice Department says it released more than 3 million additional pages under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, though questions persist about whether all material was disclosed. Fox News posted a separate clip of the appearance that omitted the Epstein exchange.
Fox News Cuts Interview Short After Candidate Accuses Trump Over Epstein Files

Fox News abruptly ended an interview after Florida congressional candidate Oliver Larkin redirected a question toward former President Donald Trump, touching off a tense exchange that quickly circulated online.
During an appearance on The Story, the host questioned Larkin about crimes involving undocumented immigrants. A widely shared clip shows the host asking Larkin how many children would have to be sexually assaulted before he would change his immigration views.
Rather than answer, Larkin pivoted to the Jeffrey Epstein case and directly accused Trump, saying,
"We need to hold this pedophile Donald Trump accountable."He also criticized people he said appeared in the so-called Epstein files and raised doubts about whether the Justice Department had released all responsive records.
After Larkin mentioned Trump, the host began speaking over him, said, "Okay, okay," declared the interview "done," and cut the segment short. Larkin later posted the exchange to his X account.
It is important to note that Larkin's statement was an allegation made on-air, not an established legal finding. Trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein. In January, the Justice Department said it had released more than 3 million additional pages and complied with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, though critics and some news investigations have continued to question whether all responsive material was disclosed or if some Trump-related items were withheld or redacted.
Fox News' official page confirmed Larkin's appearance on The Story but posted a different clip that emphasized his calls to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu under an International Criminal Court warrant and his criticism of the war with Iran. That posted segment did not include the Epstein-related exchange now circulating online.
Oliver Larkin is a union organizer and Democratic candidate challenging Rep. Jared Moskowitz in South Florida. He has campaigned on issues including labor, immigration, and demands for greater transparency around the Epstein files, criticizing Moskowitz as too moderate.
The viral clip transformed what began as an immigration-focused exchange into a confrontation over Trump and the Epstein files, ending before Larkin could finish his response and prompting online debate about media handling of heated interviews.
