Claim: Donald Trump shared an O.J. Simpson–style meme showing Barack Obama and Melania Trump riding together in the white Bronco.
Verdict: False. Trump’s verified July 26, 2025 Truth Social post depicted Trump chasing Obama in the white Bronco with J.D. Vance in a separate police car; it did not include Melania or a Satan figure. Archival checks and news searches found no evidence that Trump ever posted the altered image.
Verdict: False. Donald Trump did not post an O.J. Simpson–style meme that showed former President Barack Obama and First Lady Melania Trump riding together in the white Bronco.
The claim originated from a July 27, 2026 post on X by @karlykingsley that displayed an image appearing to show Obama and Melania together in the white Bronco while Trump followed behind in a police car with a Satan figure as his passenger. The X post opened with the line:
*squints* *puts on glasses* *tilts head*...wh...what?
On July 26, 2025, Trump posted a different meme on his Truth Social account (@realDonaldTrump). That verified post showed Trump in a police car behind Obama, who was pictured in the white Bronco associated with O.J. Simpson; Vice President J.D. Vance appeared in another police car. The Truth Social image did not include Melania Trump or any depiction of Satan.
Lead Stories reviewed Trump’s Truth Social feed and archives of his posts and conducted visual searches for identical images. Reporters also searched news aggregators (Google News, Yahoo News) for matching coverage using keywords such as "Trump," "Obama," "Melania," "O.J.," and "Bronco." No credible news outlets reported that Trump posted the altered image showing Obama and Melania together in the Bronco, and no matching posts were found in archived Truth Social records at the time of review.
Trump has frequently shared memes and digitally altered images. The Satan figure referenced in the viral altered image is a pop-culture nod reportedly tied to a "South Park" reference, but that figure does not appear in Trump’s verified Truth Social post from July 26, 2025.
The widely circulated image that pairs Obama and Melania in Simpson’s white Bronco and shows Trump following with Satan as a passenger is an altered image that was not posted by Donald Trump on his verified Truth Social account. The original, verified Truth Social post showed a different composition: Trump chasing Obama in the Bronco with J.D. Vance in another police car.
