Tasnim News Agency released a video titled "How to Kill Melania Trump," that intercuts footage of the first lady with narrated suggestions for possible attack methods and closes with a direct threat to her son Barron. Both Melania and Barron have round-the-clock Secret Service protection, and no immediate comment was issued by the East Wing or the Secret Service. The clip follows other hostile messaging, including Tehran billboards reading "Blood for Blood," amid heightened tensions after reports of a U.S.-Israel strike against Iranian leaders.

An Iranian state-linked outlet published a propaganda video that explicitly threatens First Lady Melania Trump and her son, Barron, offering alleged instructions for assassination methods and other hostile actions.

What the Video Shows

The clip, posted by Tasnim News Agency under the title "How to Kill Melania Trump," intercuts footage of Melania traveling in her motorcade and walking through New York City. A narrator points out designer shops she visits and frames those public outings as potential opportunities for attack. One segment reportedly suggests contaminating clothing purchases with a nerve agent and offers purported instructions for carrying out such an attack.

Direct Threats and Security Response

The broadcast closes with a direct verbal threat aimed at Barron Trump:

"This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us."
Both Melania and Barron are protected by continuous Secret Service details. The report notes that Trump properties — including the White House, Mar-a-Lago, Trump Tower and the Bedminster golf club — remain heavily secured. At the time of reporting, neither the East Wing nor the Secret Service issued an immediate public response to the video's publication.

Context and Escalation

The clip follows a wave of escalating threats against the president’s family. Days earlier, billboards reading "Blood for Blood" reportedly appeared across Tehran, naming Donald Trump, Melania and his children as targets. Those hostile messages intensified after media reports described a joint U.S.-Israel strike that allegedly killed senior Iranian officials.

President Trump has publicly said he has long been a prime target for Iranian threats and that security concerns have affected his travel plans. The New York Times reported he opted not to use a new Air Force One on departure from Turkey after a NATO summit because of the threat environment. In comments to The New York Post, Trump said he had left contingency instructions in the event of an attack:

"The only thing is, I've left instructions — if anything happens, to just literally bomb them at levels that they've never seen before."
