Sirens sounded across Bahrain after reported Iranian drone strikes hit the US-linked Sheikh Issa base, prompting authorities to urge residents to shelter. Iran's army claimed responsibility via ISNA, which said drones struck fuel tanks, warehouses and accommodation blocks. ISNA also reported earlier strikes at Al-Azraq base in Jordan and operations linked to Kuwait. Claims have not yet been independently confirmed; coverage is ongoing.

Sirens sounded across Bahrain on Friday morning as the Interior Ministry urged residents to remain calm and move to the nearest shelter. Authorities asked people to follow official guidance while emergency services assessed the situation.

Iran's army quickly claimed responsibility for the operation, according to Iran's semi-official news agency ISNA. ISNA reported that Iranian drones struck fuel tanks, warehouses and accommodation blocks at the United States-linked Sheikh Issa base in Bahrain.

The agency also said earlier overnight strikes had targeted US Air Force infrastructure at the Al-Azraq base in Jordan. ISNA and other reports additionally indicated operations in Kuwait were part of the same campaign.
