Dec. 4 (Reuters) — Governor Kristi Noem said on Thursday that the Trump administration intends to expand the list of countries subject to its travel ban from 19 to more than 30.

Speaking in an interview on Fox News' The Ingraham Angle, Noem said:

"I won't be specific on the number, but it's over 30, and the president is continuing to evaluate countries."

Noem did not name which additional countries would be added to the list, and provided no timetable for when the expanded restrictions might take effect.

This announcement reflects ongoing administration discussions about tightening travel restrictions; details and the final list remain under review by White House officials.
