New Zealand police recovered a diamond-studded green Fabergé-style pendant after a suspect allegedly swallowed it following a shop theft in Auckland. Officers monitored the 32-year-old for six days before arresting him and recovering the item, which is now in police custody. The limited-edition locket — valued at about US$20,000 — was modelled on the Fabergé egg from the James Bond film Octopussy and features an 18k gold lattice with sapphires and diamonds and a small golden octopus inside.
