A recently resurfaced vintage photo of a young Joe Biden has gone viral on social media, with many users saying he bears a striking resemblance to a youthful Tom Cruise.

Daily Routine and Fitness
Now 83, Biden has long emphasized the importance of exercise. In 2021 he told the podcast Here's the Deal that he tries to keep a regular routine: getting out of bed around 8 a.m., using his upstairs home gym (which includes a treadmill, a Peloton bike and weights), and often starting the day with a protein shake. He said his morning schedule can also include extended meetings with medical staff.

"It's hard to get into a really regular schedule, but for me, I've been sticking to a routine, and it helps. I try to get out of bed by eight o'clock in the morning... I try to work out every morning for me. That sort of gets me going."
Health Update: Prostate Cancer
In May 2025 Biden announced he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer that had already spread to his bones. In a September message shared on Xin, he urged men to speak with their doctors about screening, noting that when prostate cancer is detected early the five-year survival rate is close to 100%.
