SpaceX's Falcon 9 has flown 649 missions to date and remains the backbone of the company's frequent launch cadence. Kalshi prediction markets place a 77% chance of more than 13 Falcon 9 launches by the end of June and a 36% chance of exceeding 14. The next scheduled flight on Wednesday evening will be the assigned first-stage booster's 29th mission.

SpaceX's rapid launch tempo has analysts and space enthusiasts watching to see how many Falcon 9 missions the company will finish by the end of June. So far this year the reusable Falcon 9 has flown many missions, and the vehicle has logged 649 flights over its operational lifetime.

What Is the Falcon 9? The Falcon 9 is a two-stage, reusable launch vehicle designed to carry crew and cargo to Earth orbit and beyond. Its first stage can return and land autonomously for refurbishment and reuse, a capability that underpins SpaceX's high launch cadence and cost efficiencies.

June Launch Outlook

SpaceX completed 11 launches last month, and after a successful Starlink mission on Tuesday there is a solid possibility June could exceed that total. Prediction-market platform Kalshi currently assigns a 77% probability that SpaceX will record more than 13 Falcon 9 launches by the end of June, and a smaller 36% probability that the tally will top 14 launches before month’s end.

Upcoming Flight

The next Falcon 9 launch is scheduled for Wednesday evening; that mission will mark the 29th flight of the first-stage booster assigned to it, illustrating how frequently SpaceX reflights the same hardware.

Observers continue to track this pace as commercial space activity accelerates and astronomical events capture public interest. The probabilities from prediction markets highlight both the certainty of frequent launches and the remaining uncertainty of exact scheduling in a busy manifest.
