Flight and Recovery
The Falcon 9 tracked northeast across a clearing morning sky after overnight showers moved out in time for launch. This liftoff marked the 35th launch from Florida this year. The rocket’s first-stage booster successfully returned to the ocean and landed on the autonomous drone ship A Shortfall Of Gravitas, stationed in the Atlantic.
No sonic booms were reported in Brevard County following the flight.
