Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene publicly rebuked former President Donald Trump for meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and scheduling a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu back-to-back, asking, “Can we just do America?” Greene, who has experienced a recent falling-out with Trump, said she will step back from running for reelection after he withdrew his endorsement. She opposes additional military aid related to both conflicts and has sharply criticized leaders and policies tied to Ukraine and Gaza.
Greene Criticizes Trump’s Back-to-Back Meetings With Zelensky and Netanyahu: “Can We Just Do America?”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Sunday criticized former President Donald Trump for scheduling consecutive high-profile meetings with foreign leaders, asking rhetorically, “Can we just do America?”
“[Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky today. [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu tomorrow. Can we just do America?” Greene wrote on the social platform X.
Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Palm Beach, Fla., on Sunday and was scheduled to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the following day. The meetings come amid ongoing international conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East that have drawn sustained U.S. attention and diplomacy.
Greene has been publicly feuding with Trump for several months. Last month she announced she would step back from seeking another term in Congress, saying she did not want to be a “battered wife” following a fallout in which Trump withdrew his endorsement and called her a “traitor.”
In a lengthy statement, Greene said she had "too much self-respect and dignity," that she loves her family, and she did not want her district to endure a divisive primary driven by internal Republican conflict.
The Georgia Republican has opposed additional military aid tied to conflicts in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Earlier this year, Greene criticized a Trump administration agreement with Ukraine that linked funding to access to critical minerals. She has also publicly accused Ukrainian President Zelensky of canceling elections and was among the first House Republicans to describe the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as a “genocide.”
The Hill reported it reached out to the White House for comment.
