Rep. Lauren Boebert was filmed pleading with security after several of her aides were denied entry to George Santos’ “Santos Claus” holiday party in Washington, D.C. Video shows a bouncer—identified as Vish Burra—confirming Boebert was on the guest list while negotiating which staffers could enter. About 100 guests attended, including Meghan McCain and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene; Santos also invited convicted figures Martin Shkreli and Anna Delvey. Santos’ 87-month sentence was quashed by former President Donald Trump in October.
Lauren Boebert Barred From Letting All Staff Into George Santos’ 'Santos Claus' Party — Video Shows Doorroom Drama

Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert was captured on video pleading with security at the entrance of a Washington, D.C., holiday party hosted by former Rep. George Santos after several members of her staff were denied entry.
What Happened
Footage obtained by TMZ shows Boebert asking a bouncer to check the guest list, saying, “First of all, we’re on the list, so go ahead and look...” The clip ends with the security guard producing the list and negotiating who would be permitted inside, telling Boebert: “I know you’re on the list, Lauren.” According to reports, Boebert and one staffer were allowed in while other aides were refused.
Who Was At The Door
TMZ identified the bouncer as Vish Burra, a former producer for the Matt Gaetz Show who also worked as an aide to Santos. Burra reposted the video on X (formerly Twitter), writing that enforcing the guest list was a difficult task and emphasizing that Santos wanted a handpicked roster: “THE QUEEN SANTOS GETS WHAT SHE WANTS, AND SHE ONLY WANTED HANDPICKED PEOPLE ON THE LIST!”
Burra told TMZ that while Boebert and one aide were on the list, Santos had not approved the remainder of her team. Burra added that Santos was “adamant he wanted everyone he had picked to be at the party.”
Guests, Reactions And Atmosphere
Reports say roughly 100 people were admitted. Notable attendees included conservative commentator Meghan McCain and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who later appeared on Santos’ social media. Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna reportedly was allowed in while some of her staffers were turned away, too.
Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett, speaking outside the venue, described the gathering as lively and said he saw people being turned away. He also commented on the party’s catering, mentioning caviar, oversized shrimp, and a chocolate fountain.
Controversial Invitees And Background
Santos also reportedly invited convicted figures Martin Shkreli and Anna Delvey. Shkreli was convicted of securities fraud and released in 2022. Anna Delvey (real name Anna Sorokin) served time for fraud and was profiled in the Netflix documentary Inventing Anna.
George Santos was released from prison in October after former President Donald Trump moved to quash his 87-month sentence for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. In a Truth Social post announcing the action, Trump described Santos as “somewhat of a ‘rogue’” and suggested others receive leniency as well.
Additional Notes
Burra was reportedly fired from One America News Network last month after sharing a video described by the outlet as “highly offensive” and antisemitic. The Daily Beast said it contacted representatives for Santos, Luna, and Boebert for comment.
