The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $930 million, making it the seventh-largest in the game's history after no winning ticket Monday. The odds of hitting the jackpot are about 1 in 292.2 million, and a winner can choose between the $930 million annuity or an estimated $429 million lump-sum (both pre-tax). Drawings occur Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET; the next chance to win is Wednesday. Players can add Power Play for $1 to multiply non-jackpot prizes.
Powerball Jackpot Climbs to $930M — Seventh-Largest Ever; Next Drawing Wednesday

The Powerball jackpot has risen to an estimated $930 million — the seventh-largest prize in the game's history — after no ticket matched all six numbers in Monday night's drawing.
Next Drawing, Odds and Prize Options
The next chance to win is Wednesday's drawing. The odds of winning the grand prize remain about 1 in 292.2 million. If there is a winner, they may choose the advertised annuity option — the $930 million paid as 30 annual payments — or a one-time lump-sum payment currently estimated at $429 million. Both figures are stated before federal and state/local taxes.
When And How To Watch
Powerball numbers are drawn live three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. Ticket sales cut off one to two hours before each drawing depending on state rules. Drawings are available to watch through official state lottery channels.
Latest Winning Numbers
The numbers drawn on Monday, Dec. 8, were: 8-32-52-56-64 with a Powerball of 23. The Power Play multiplier for that drawing was 2X.
How To Win And Prize Structure
To win the jackpot a single play line must match all five white balls (in any order) plus the red Powerball. You cannot combine numbers across different tickets or play lines. If no one wins the grand prize, the jackpot rolls to the next drawing and grows.
Players who don’t match all six numbers still have eight other prize tiers available by matching various combinations of white-ball numbers and/or the red Powerball. Prize amounts and odds vary by tier.
Power Play Option
For an extra $1 per play line, players can add Power Play, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X (the multiplier is randomly selected during the drawing). For example, a player in Monday’s drawing won $1 million by matching five white balls with Power Play applied.
