Six people — four minors and two young women — have been indicted in the July stabbing death of 19-year-old Benayahu Razi in a Jerusalem Airbnb. Prosecutors allege the group conspired to attack Razi and his friend, and that the minors carried out the stabbing that pierced Razi's heart. A seventh person is accused of helping the suspects flee. Evidence cited includes CCTV footage, phone records, partial admissions and DNA; defense lawyers say the incident appears to have unfolded unexpectedly and will be challenged in court.
Six Indicted Over Jerusalem Airbnb Stabbing That Killed 19-Year-Old Benayahu Razi; Seventh Accused Of Aiding Escape

Four minors and two young women have been formally indicted over the fatal stabbing of 19-year-old Benayahu Razi, who was killed in a Jerusalem Airbnb after a dispute involving his former partner escalated into violence. Prosecutors say seven people played different roles in the attack and the subsequent escape.
Who Was Charged
Agam Tzarfati, 19, of Jerusalem; Shilat Huta, 20, of Beersheba; and four minors believed to be 15–17 years old were charged with murder and aggravated assault. Prosecutors allege those six conspired to attack Razi and his friend, and that the minors carried out the physical assault. A seventh defendant, 46-year-old Linor Sasson of Jerusalem, was indicted on charges of assisting after the fact and obstruction of justice for allegedly helping members of the group flee.
Alleged Timeline
According to the indictment, Tzarfati and Huta rented an Airbnb on Shirizli Street in Jerusalem and invited Razi and a friend for the weekend. A dispute occurred the following day; prosecutors say the details of that initial altercation are not fully clear. The next afternoon, the two women left while Razi and his friend were sleeping. They reported later to others that Razi had been violent toward them.
The women went to Sasson's home in Neve Yaakov, where the four minors arrived and heard their account. Prosecutors allege that at that location the group decided to return to the apartment to "finish him." The minors are accused of arming themselves with knives, a folding metal baton, a spike, razor blades and a metal meat tenderizer.
Later that day, prosecutors say Sasson drove the group toward the Airbnb. Tzarfati and Sasson reportedly remained in the car while Huta and the minors approached the apartment, contacted Razi and his friend and persuaded them to return upstairs. Huta allegedly made a video call to Tzarfati during the confrontation.
Inside the apartment, one of the minors allegedly struck Razi with the metal baton. Prosecutors allege the four minors then attacked him with the weapons they had brought; two of the minors are accused of stabbing Razi in the arm and chest. Medical investigators determined that a stab wound to Razi's lower left chest penetrated his chest cavity and injured his heart, causing severe blood loss that led to his death.
The group fled the scene. The indictment says one minor wiped two knives while escaping and another discarded a knife taken from the apartment. Sasson later picked up the minors; prosecutors allege they told her Razi was dead and discussed leaving Jerusalem. One suspect remained in hiding for more than two weeks and was arrested on July 28 after police released his photo while searching for him.
Evidence and Defense
The prosecution says its case relies on security-camera footage that captures parts of the incident and the escape, phone records, statements by Tzarfati and Huta describing the minors arming themselves, partial admissions by some minors, the surviving friend's account and DNA findings. The Jerusalem District Court is being asked to keep all seven defendants in custody pending proceedings.
Attorneys Idan Gamlielli and Ofer Ehrlich of the Public Defender's Office, representing one of the minors, said they had not yet received full investigative material when the indictment was filed. They said the minor denies directly causing Razi's death and that, "Even from an initial review of the indictment, a picture emerges of an unplanned and unfolding event that ended tragically." They added they will present their client's arguments after reviewing the evidence.
Background
The indictment notes a prior troubled history between Razi and Tzarfati. Local reports cited by prosecutors say Razi filed a police complaint in September 2025 alleging harassment and threats by Tzarfati and others; other reports indicate both parties filed complaints during their relationship. Those earlier allegations are separate from the events prosecutors describe in the indictment.
Prosecutors have charged six people with murder-related offenses and a seventh with aiding the suspects after the fact; all seven remain in custody pending the court's review.
