The Reuters factbox compiles defence ministry figures from Gulf states on missiles and drones Iran has fired at their territories, current through March 9. The UAE reported the largest totals — including 253 ballistic missiles and 1,440 drones detected. Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait also reported substantial missile and drone activity; Kuwait supplied interception figures only for March 6-9. No reliable figures were available from Saudi Arabia or Oman.

March 10 (Reuters) - Below are figures released by Gulf defence ministries and military authorities detailing missiles and drones Iran has fired at Gulf territories since the start of the U.S.-Israeli air campaign against Iran. The tallies are current through March 9.

United Arab Emirates

Ballistic Missiles:

  • 253 ballistic missiles detected
  • 233 intercepted
  • 18 fell into the sea
  • 2 landed on UAE territory

Drones:

  • 1,440 drones detected
  • 1,359 intercepted
  • 81 fell within UAE territory

Cruise Missiles:

  • 8 detected and destroyed

Qatar

Ballistic Missiles:

  • 127 ballistic missiles detected
  • 118 intercepted

Drones:

  • 63 drones detected
  • 47 intercepted

Cruise Missiles:

  • 7 cruise missiles detected and intercepted

Aircraft:

  • 2 Sukhoi SU-24 aircraft detected and intercepted

Bahrain

Missiles:

  • 105 missiles destroyed

Drones:

  • 176 drones destroyed

Kuwait

Ballistic Missiles:

  • 120 ballistic missiles detected
  • 17 intercepted (between March 6-9); no interception data available for earlier dates

Drones:

  • 308 drones detected
  • 22 intercepted (between March 6-9)

Kuwait also reported missile and drone attacks from March 2-5 but provided no specific figures for that period. No data was available from Saudi Arabia or Oman at the time of reporting.
